Sixty-five adolescent girls from Nawalparasi actively participated in a two-day long training on self-defense which concluded yesterday.
The objective of this ‘Violence and Harassment reduction training’ was to build mental , physical and vocal skills and risk response mechanism to handle various types of real life situations of violence and harassment.
A shorter training was also given to 16 teachers and 50 adolescent boys. The training was organised in collaboration with the Fight Back team in Pratappur Rural Municipality of Nawalparasi.
Thank you UMN’s Nawalparasi Cluster for making these girls more confident by empowering them to protect and defend themselves.
