Okhaldhunga Community Hospital is a 50-bed, primary care hospital.
Outpatient services:
Male, female, and paediatric general clinics
24-hour emergency service (7-bedded ER)
A primary care maternal and child health clinic
General surgical consult
Orthopaedic consult
ANC /Family planning
Diabetes
TB /Leprosy clinic
Dental clinic
Physiotherapy and rehabilitation services
Eye clinic (in collaboration with Okhaldhunga Eye Centre)
Diagnostic services:
Endoscopy
Laboratory
Ultrasound
X-ray (digital)
Inpatient service – 50 beds in the following wards or units:
Medicine
– Critical Care Unit
Pediatrics
– Newborn HDU
General Surgery
Burns
Obstetrics
Orthopaedics
Rehabilitation
Psychiatry (part-time)
Nursing division
Child Nutrition Rehab Centre
Maternal Waiting Home
Social services department:
Pastoral care and counselling for patients and staff
Assessing for and arranging subsidised or free care for patients
Training:
Postings for MDGP resident doctors from 3 different institutions.
For Province Health Training Centre:
– Midlevel Practicum training
Community Health Department:
Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR)
Programme in Molung and Khijidemba
Mental Health Programme (will phase out soon)
