Okhaldhunga Community Hospital is a 50-bed, primary care hospital.

Outpatient services:

  • Male, female, and paediatric general clinics
  • 24-hour emergency service (7-bedded ER)
  • A primary care maternal and child health clinic
  • General surgical consult
  • Orthopaedic consult
  • ANC /Family planning
  • Diabetes
  • TB /Leprosy clinic
  • Dental clinic
  • Physiotherapy and rehabilitation services
  • Eye clinic (in collaboration with Okhaldhunga Eye Centre)

Diagnostic services:

  • Endoscopy
  • Laboratory
  • Ultrasound
  • X-ray (digital)

Inpatient service – 50 beds in the following wards or units:

    – Critical Care Unit

    – Newborn HDU

Nursing division

  • Child Nutrition Rehab Centre
  • Maternal Waiting Home

Social services department:

  • Pastoral care and counselling for patients and staff
  • Assessing for and arranging subsidised or free care for patients

Training:

  • Postings for MDGP resident doctors from 3 different institutions.
  • For Province Health Training Centre:
    – Midlevel Practicum training
