Sudurpashchim Province lies in far-western Nepal and accounts for 9.24% of Nepal’s total population. Its geography ranges from the lowlands of the Terai to the towering Himalayan peaks like Api and Saipal and it is rich in biodiversity as well as spiritual landmarks.
In Sudurpashchim Province, UMN works to end domestic violence, manage disaster risks, support education, health, child development, and livelihoods, provide disability treatment, and mitigate and adapt to climate change impacts.
