Today, we gathered to mark the end of a longstanding partnership between UMN and Felm Nepal. The two organisations share a special and warm partnership, which began in 1977.

At the gathering, Dhana Lama, UMN’s Executive Director shared, “I always remember Felm with a grateful heart every time I meet a Dalit girl who has been to school or a child studying in his/her mother language in Mugu. All these and many more meaningful scholarship programmes and education projects were possible because of Felm’s support and long-term commitment and trust.”

Dr Lotta Gammelin, Country Director of Felm Nepal and her team were also present at the farewell programme today. Dr Gammelin shared how UMN has truly been the changemakers in remote regions working diligently with the grassroots level.

While this chapter comes to a close, the memories, friendships, and impact we have created together will continue.
