AIN (Association of International NGOs in Nepal) organised a special candle lighting event to celebrate the International Day of Peace yesterday evening at Rani Pokhari – an ancient pond.  Several INGOs working on Peace Building were present to support the  work of Peace and to pay tribute to the youths who  lost their lives during the conflict in Nepal.

Bal Kumari Gurung, UMN’s Peacebuilding Team Leader led a group of participants from UMN to this event to light candles and pray for peace.
