Being Executive Director of UMN is not for the faint-hearted. Mark Galpin recently demonstrated his courage by leaping (well, stepping with encouragement) off a high platform and swinging across a very deep gorge in Nepal. As he did so, he tells us that he shouted “Fullness of life for all, in a transformed Nepali society” in Nepali. (We think he probably said: “Oh my goodness, what a silly thing to do!” or something like that.)

Anyway, we are very proud of Mark, and think that perhaps this could be part of the recruitment process for future Executive Directors. Or maybe not.
