At least 13 people have been reported dead in a tragic bus accident in Tansen this morning at around 9 am. The bus which was en route to Rampur from Tansen was carrying 27 people. United Mission Hospital Tansen reported that no hospital staff were in the bus, but sadly a few relatives of hospital staff have died in this tragedy. Early this afternoon, ten injured people were brought to Tansen Hospital, among which three cases were critical – two were flown by a helicopter to Kathmandu and sadly, one didn’t make it.

There was heavy rain since this morning which might have caused the bus to skid off the road and fall 150 meters at Dharadi forest.
