UMN-INF Conference at UK
UMN-INF Conference at UK

The interactive participation of around 150 people contributed to a good
conclusion for the UMN/INF Conference in Swanwick, Derbyshire, UK, on
22nd September. We all celebrated UMN’s birthday with a
welcome video message from Mark. The documentary show made many of the
attendees nostalgic, and the reading out of all UMN’s important
projects from the last 60 years reflected a true sense of the
contribution UMN has made to the building of the Kingdom of God in
Nepal.

Leading UMN’s Rukum-themed seminar was
confidence-building for me and I was able to share human stories of real
changes that have brought smiles to the faces of those in need. My aim
to learn servant leadership was fostered by talking with many who had
worked with true commitment and love in difficult areas of Nepal in the
past.

Meeting with Paul Wright, Richard and Linda Sykes, Alan and
Ann Penn and David and Anne McConkey, was a little like a ‘mini-UMN’
in the UK for me.
