Prayer Priorities – December 28, 2021
“The grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope – the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.”
Titus 2v11-13

We encourage everyone who is praying for UMN not only to raise our requests but to listen to God on UMN’s behalf. Please take time to read this Bible verse slowly to yourself. Pause and ask God to speak through His Word. Then read it slowly again. Settle and calm your mind before you pray.

Praise
  • Christmas celebrations have taken place in Thapathali and in the Hospitals. Give thanks for a sense of togetherness in UMN as we mark the gift of God and find inspiration and hope in this reminder of God’s presence in a dark and needy world.

  • In Okhaldhunga, Hospital Director Yub Raj Acharya writes, praise God for our mental health one year project approved from Norad Digni Normisjon.
Prayer
  • Okhaldhunga Hospital asks prayer for the Recruitment process for staff of the mental health programme this week. This is followed by recruitment for a Senior Consultant, Resident Medical Officers and other hospital staff from 3-7 January.

  • Please continue to pray for the Hafvenstein family recovering from COVID-19. Also other members of our staff and families who are currently suffering from COVID. This is particularly difficult during holidays when special plans for family time are having to be set aside.
