For the second-year running, 68 young people gathered in Mayadevi Rural Municipality, Kapilvastu, for the Moon Camp event, organised by Pragatisil Youth Society in collaboration with UMN and its local partner, Dalit Social Development Centre, choosing to mark Holi by bringing colour and change to a local school.

In the two-days, the school’s faded walls were brought back to life with fresh paint. Participants bonded through teamwork, shared stories about culture and community, and turned strangers into friends, creating meaningful connections.

The Moon Camp has given a new meaning to Holi. It has become a celebration of service, connection and creating something beautiful together for social change.
