We rejoice with the Okhaldhunga Community Hospital family in the signing of their 5-year agreement with the provincial government last week. We thank and praise God for this answer to many prayers and for opening ways for us to continue our service. This is the first of several government agreements we need in 2021 to keep our work going in the hospitals and clusters. Joel Hafvenstein, UMN’s Executive Director, signed the agreement with the Provincial Government of Nepal under the Ministry of Social Development at the Health Directorate Office in Dhankuta, Province 1, on Monday 11 January.
Meanwhile, United Mission Hospital Tansen has a one-year registration which will ensure its continued operation while we work to meet the criteria for a longer agreement. Thank you, friends of UMN, for your prayers and good wishes. Please do continue to pray for successful renewal of our other agreements.
