Sixty-five adolescent girls from Nawalparasi actively participated in a two-day long training on self-defense which concluded yesterday.
The objective of this ‘Violence and Harassment reduction training’ was to build mental , physical and vocal skills and risk response mechanism to handle various types of real life situations of violence and harassment.
A shorter training was also given to 16 teachers and 50 adolescent boys. The training was organised in collaboration with the Fight Back team in Pratappur Rural Municipality of Nawalparasi.
