In Kapilvastu, a group of young people is making their time count by organising and running a Holiday Learning Camp for school-going children in 16 different neighbourhoods of Mayadevi Rural Municipality.

Every Saturday and on school holidays, up to 25 children gather in each group to read, write, draw, sing and play. The camp has helped promote a culture of learning, creativity, youth engagement and leadership, turning school holidays into something meaningful and productive for both children and young facilitators.
