Executive Director Mark Galpin and Clusters Director Dhana Lama have been visiting Supporting Partners in Australia over the last few weeks. A highlight of their trip was the TEAR Australia National Conference near Sydney, where several hundred supporters gathered to hear from a number of TEAR’s partners around the world. Dhana particularly enjoyed being part of a panel on women and development, which also included TumainiMatutu (left), a Community Development Facilitator from Tanzania, andDenise Champion (right) an Indigenous Adnyamathanha woman from the Flinders Ranges in South Australia. Denise is a State Development Officer for the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress, and a Reconciliation Officer for the Uniting Church, South Australia.
Mark and Dhana have also shared at the INF conference in Sydney, with Baptist World Aid supporters, and in various churches in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.
