Prayer Priorities – August 30, 2022
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7
We encourage everyone who is praying for UMN not only to raise our requests but to listen to God on UMN’s behalf. Please take time to read this Bible verse slowly to yourself. Pause and ask God to speak through His Word. Then read it slowly again. Settle and calm your mind before you pray.

Praise
  • Praise God for His favour in the High Court hearing on Monday. We are happy that we do not have to vacate the property.
  • Praise God for His provisions to meet the community needs and address the issues wherever we find them.

  • In Doti the District Project Advisory Committee (DPAC) annual progress and reforming sharing meeting went well. Local level stakeholders and partners participated in the meeting.

  • Also in Doti, project inception of Badikedar Integrated Community Transformation (BICT) with local government went well.
Prayer
  • Continue to pray for the Supreme Court case which is due in January dealing with the same issue of the right of UMN to use our office property.

  • Continue to pray for the visa process for 14 Expatriates.

  • Continue to pray for Sagar as he mourns and goes through the rituals after the loss of his father. Please also remember Rabbi in his recovery, and Bishal’s wife Jyoti as they both go through the tests and treatments and for complete healing.

  • Pray for the successful joint monitoring visit of DPAC members planned in Doti

  • The monsoon continues and in some areas it is particularly heavy. As roads to visit fields are not good, please pray for the safety of our staff members

Tansen Hospital
  • This week we welcomed two medical students from Singapore who will be with us for 6 weeks. Pray they will learn well and catch the spirit of ‘care for all’ that we seek to practice here in Tansen.

  • Please continue to pray for our skills in managing Covid positive patients in the hospital. Stopping the spread to other patients and staff is so important and requires diligence, appropriate equipment and techniques. Pray for these patients, their families and those caring directly for them.
