Towards achieving gender equality and positive masculinity in a community with traditional harmful practices such as forced marriages, 17 adolescent boys from 9 wards and later 45 adolescent girls from the same wards attended two separate two-day training events in Putha Uttarganga, Rukum East this month. They will go back and share their learning with their other group members, reaching 180 young men and 176 young women.

In the same rural municipality, UMN was happy to strengthen and assist in making local government annual plans more effective! 48 representatives (20 women, 28 men) from all 14 wards of Putha Uttarganga participated in a three-day training on the seven-step planning process.
