To support the ongoing national Covid-19 response, the Association of International NGOs in Nepal (AIN) handed over a medical assistance package worth nearly 45.3 million rupees (approx. USD 370,000) to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on 6 May 2020. Fifteen INGOs including UMN responded with this financial contribution to put together the medical assistance package which included Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) sets, safe delivery kits, infrared thermometers, water and air-proof aprons among others.

The handover was done in coordination with the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizen in collaboration with the Social Welfare Council.
