“Just recently a baby girl was born at Okhaldhunga Community Hospital – a joyous moment for the family. Many visitors came to meet this child and mother. Some come with gifts and share the joy and others stay in the hospital to support the family in whatever way possible. This kind of support is often seen here. The mother was particularly delighted when one of her relatives offered to stay in the hospital and support her and the child. She was giving an oil massage to this child under the warm sun during the cold weather. I could see the faces of the mother and her child shine, thanking this relative for her service to them. This beautiful moment can frequently be seen on the hospital premises.”
