Disability Inclusion Resource Book
UMN published this book for the purpose of sensitization and capacity building on disability inclusion of UMN and UMN partners’ staff, and disability inclusion related close stakeholders such as local government and other like-minded organizations.
The key contents included in the book are understanding of disability, disability inclusion and accessibility, UMN’s disability related policy and guidelines, Nepal government’s provision, and facilities for the persons with disabilities, as well as the information about the organizations of the country working in disability rehabilitation and inclusion. In addition, this shares other disability related key points on national and international priorities, plans, disability inclusion related government’s key acts and law and some practiced disability inclusion tools.
The expected outcome of this book is contribution to building confidence of the readers to take appropriate actions for the meaningful and respectful inclusion of persons with disabilities in their behavior and any development related initiatives or process.

This book is full of knowledge about the disability, right of person with disability and the standard of accessibility uses by the person with disability. Hats off to the people who gave their valuable effort to complete the book also glad to be the part of this project.
