On World Water Day, we are happy to share with you a year’s update of our support from Nawalparasi District.

3 drinking water tanks with large bio-sand filters were provided to 3 Health Facilities. An average of 175 people including staff now have access to safe drinking water every day.

700 students and teachers of Bal Sikshya Niketan Secondary School now have access to safe drinking water after the support of drinking water tanks, large bio-sand filters, and water pumps.

33 impoverished households including 21 people with disabilities were given a help of bio-sand filters for safe drinking water. Also, 25 ultra-poor households (23 Dalits and four with disabilities) were supported with toilet construction to improve their sanitation practices.
