Services - Hospital and Community-based
The hospital provides primary hospital services (general practice level), particularly in the areas of adult medicine and surgery, maternity, paediatrics and orthopaedics. Dentistry and an eye clinic are also available.

The hospital runs a community-based rehabilitation project in Molung and Khijidemba Rural Municipalities, a mental health project in Khijidemba, a child nutrition rehab centre and a maternal waiting home for 24 expectant mothers.

Training
This is one of the more remote hospitals where general practice / family medicine doctors (MDGPs) are trained for their district posting. It also offers Midlevel Practicum training. From 2019 to 2023 the hospital ran a School of Nursing. We are now exploring other options of courses to offer. The hospital has a long history of training medical-related personnel through the School of Health Science. Medical elective students can also take a placement at the hospital.
