The book explains about the concepts of social audit and explores its good practices in Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) in the context of Nepal. The first chapter discusses the theoretical aspects of social audit explaining the context, meaning, history, benefits, characteristics, process as well as pre-requisite of social audit. The second part narrates the practical experiences and good practices of social audit in various NGOs in different parts of the country ranging from Eastern to Far-Western Region of Nepal.
