UMN’s Kapilvastu Cluster was delighted to have the Honorable Ambassador Felicity Volks visit some of UMN’s project areas yesterday, 12 April 2022. She visited the milk collection centre and interacted with some dairy farmers. Then she visited a restored pond, met with some children with disabilities, single woman’s vegetable farm, a health post, a school, and also interacted with some beneficiaries. UMN’s development projects are in Yashodhara and Mayadevi Rural Municipalities.

UMN’s Team Leader in Kapilvastu, Rup Kumar BK, thanked the honorable Ambassador and shared how inspired and honoured UMN and the community feels to have her visit and interact with them. The visit concluded with a debriefing meeting between the Ambassador’s team and UMN cluster staff in Lumbini.
