Survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) in Nepal will have more support to protect their mental health and deal with trauma thanks to a three-day training this week, using a manual on ‘Mental health and gender-based violence’. The 25 participants from 7 organisations including UMN will then share what they’ve learnt in their organisations and community to help GBV survivors to deal with trauma. We are very grateful to the two trainers who came all the way from Norway representing MHHRI* and for the collaboration of HimalPartner, MHHRI and UMN to achieve this training. We trust it will bring relief for many in the future.
