Prayer Priorities – February 1, 2022
“My dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.”
1 Corinthians 15v58

We encourage everyone who is praying for UMN not only to raise our requests but to listen to God on UMN’s behalf. Please take time to read this Bible verse slowly to yourself. Pause and ask God to speak through His Word. Then read it slowly again. Settle and calm your mind before you pray.

Praise
  • Give thanks for safe travel and arrival of the Hafvenstein family back in Nepal

  • We praise God for the recovery and healing of so many colleagues who have been ill with COVID and other ailments.

  • Give thanks that over 1,100 doses of COVID vaccines were given through Tansen Hospital in the first 9 days of their latest vaccination campaign – boosters for health staff and first doses for the general public.
Prayer
  • Please pray for many staff who remain unwell from the effects of COVID.

  • Pray for Tansen Hospital as we continue manage the COVID surge. Thankfully slightly less intense this week with antigen positive levels now at 30%, down from 50% and only 30 staff in isolation after a peak of 70.

  • Pray also for admin clerks under pressure as we need to upload more supporting documentation for the health insurance board within 2 weeks. Pray that having done this we will be reimbursed.

  • Leadership Team meetings and Board Meetings are coming up soon. Please pray that these will be fruitful meetings marked with unity and positive decisions and direction.

  • Continue to remember the ongoing work of meetings and developing relationships as we seek to finally get project agreements signed off. There are three project agreements covering work in three provinces – Karnali, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim. The working visas of six expats rest on these agreements.
