United Mission to Nepal (UMN) has been serving the people of Nepal since 1954. UMN, with funding support from KNH, Germary, has been implementing the Strengthening Child Rights in Pratappur (SCRIP) project in Nawalparasi West in partnership with a local partner, INDRENI Nepal. This is an end-term evaluation covering a period 17 July 2022 and 16 July 2027.

This project aims to strengthen child protection and promote the education, participation, and wellbeing of children, particularly girls from marginalised communities, including Muslim girls, by empowering children and youth to claim their rights, strengthening local child protection systems, and engaging parents to adopt positive practices and improve livelihoods. Through child and youth clubs, community awareness, teacher training, financial literacy, and collaboration with schools and local governments, the project seeks to reduce child marriage, child labour, discrimination, and other protection risks while creating more inclusive, and child-friendly environments.

This advertisement has been published to invite applications from individual consultants or registered consulting firms to conduct this evaluation. Details of the evaluation scope, objectives, timeline, methodologies and qualifications for the consultants have been provided in the Terms of Reference (ToR), which can be accessed at below.

All interested and experienced individuals or consulting firms who meet the requirements and qualifications are encouraged to apply. Application should include a letter of interest, technical proposal and financial proposal. The application must be submitted to UMN latest by 2 September 2026.
