At UMN, we have taken up an initiative to recycle better. Recently, we have tied up with Doko Recyclers, (Kathmandu’s first digital recyclable waste pickup platform for households), to help us recycle our Thapathali office waste. A recycling awareness workshop for staff was also held at UMN on Monday, which was facilitated by Doko Recyclers.

In our drive to make UMN a plastic-free zone, we will now stop using plastic bottled water, plastic cutlery and decorations for our celebrations.

 

We plan to look up for more ideas to produce as less plastic waste as possible, which we can adopt in the long run. After all, change starts with us.
