Today marks World Hearing Day. Last week eight people with disabilities were provided with hearing aids along with a provision for proper medical consultation in Kapilvastu District through UMN’s work. Today some of them are visiting for a consultation at a private clinic coordinated by the project.

This was enabled through UMN’s: ‘Improving Health Systems’ project following COVID-19. 

This year’s World Hearing Day theme ‘To hear for life, listen with care’ focuses on the importance of safe listening as a means of maintaining good hearing and preventing hearing loss.
