Inputs to National Policy
Inputs to National Policy

More and more Nepali children are becoming at risk due to the deteriorating political condition and broken homes. Currently, 41%* of Nepal’s population are under 16 years of age with 8,000 displaced by the armed conflict. UMN is working together with one of its partners Children At Risk Network Nepal (CARNet-N), for drafting a child protection policy at the national level. UMN is also advocating Children as zones of peace.
