This video introduces UMN’s Multi Lingual Education project in the ethnic minority areas of Rukum East. Twelve schools have received bilingual text books in their mother tongue Kham Magar. Currently, around 500 Magar children are benefiting from this. It’s great to see them enjoy learning in their mother tongue.
